July Meeting We're meeting in the back room of La Fiesta (the Franklin Avenue location) this time so come early for some good Mexican food and a little socializing. Join us for dinner at 6:00 if you'd like and we'll start the meeting at 7:00pm. Rick plans on demonstrating his use of the Scene Machine with its projected backgrounds to photograph proms (full length) and seniors (3/4 length). The tools and skills you'll learn could be applied to a variety of photographic endeavors. About 85% of Rick's work is on projected backgrounds. He'll do a live demonstration of his techniques and discuss how to incorporate them into a digital workflow. For our out of town visitors, Take the Valley Mills exit from IH-35 and head west on Valley Mills. You'll pass Baylor Stadium on your right and then an overpass that goes over some railroad tracks. The Franklin exit off of Valley Mill is to your right immediately after that overpass. Take that exit, turn right on Franklin and then make an immediate left on 38th where you can enter the La Fiesta parking lot. If you're coming in from the west on Hwy 84, then take the Franklin Ave split just after you cross under Hwy 6. Stay on Franklin until you cross under the Valley Mills overpass. La Fiesta will be on your left.
