![]() March Meeting Tuesday,March 9th, 7:00pm at Artistic Images click for driving directions Optional: join us for dinner at LaFiesta before the meeting, 5:30pm Portrait Studio Workflow Many of you are using Canon digital SLR cameras for at least a portion of your work. So is Brigham. He's going to walk us through his workflow with a typical studio portrait session. Learning to use these cameras to produce great images is not difficult. Learning to do it efficiently is a much more daunting task. In a digital workflow you are likely taking on more of the tasks that may have been handled by your lab in a film workflow. The added control and immediate feedback are nice but if it means you're spending hours on end in front of a computer monitor instead of shooting or selling then maybe you need to rethink how you work. Anyone who's been attempting to make a digital workflow work for any length of time has probably experimented with a variety of techniques. Brigham is going to share the solutions he's found to be effective for his studio. Maybe you can put some of these to use in your situation. While Brigham is going to be demonstrating a workflow based on Canon cameras... and it seems that's the most popular choice among our membership... most of the techniques could be applied to any digital workflow. Please note that we are meeting in Brigham's studio, Artistic Images.
