Express Digital Demo
presented by
Brian Woodcheck
Imaging Spectrum

This is another in a series of programs to help you work smarter. Spend more time creating images; less time fighting production issues. Express Digital sells a variety of software solutions aimed at automating very specific workflows. If you do any type of modest to high volume, quick turn-around work you really need to see this demo. Imaging Spectrum is a complete systems integrator for digital imaging. They're a Texas based company that's been specializing in digital imaging for years before it became a mainstream form of photography. If you need help putting all the pieces of this digital puzzle together, that's where they excel. I'm sure Brian will have a number of other digital goodies to show off in addition to the Express Digital demo.

Future meetings: On June 8th, we'll meet at John Pack's studio where John will give a demo of his portrait workflow using Phase One's Capture One software. Tim Flanagan will present a program titled "For Love or Money" in July... a discussion of how being true to your passion for the art of photography can also be good for your bottom line. Tim Ostermeyer from Dallas will be here in September and Doug Box will motivate HOTPPG in November.

Print Exhibition

As discussed at our last meeting, we want to start a monthly print exhibition. This is open to all members of HOTPPG. Bring one print... any size, format or subject matter. All prints will be displayed with method for fellow members to annonomously leave comments and score the images. This isn't really meant as a competetion. Its intended as a way spark constructive criticism among fellow photographers... one of the very best ways to improve your skills. We're sort of winging it here on how the process will work. Have patience and bear with us while we work out the kinks. We'll give an award at the end of the year to the photographer whose prints accumulated the highest total scores. Just participate every month and you're already well on the way to a high score.

meeting fee: no charge for members ($50 annual dues)
$10.00 non members. First time visitors, no charge.
