Mark was awarded Certification from the Professional Photographers of America in June 2001. Mark is a PPA “Super Monday” Instructor, current President of the South Plains Professional Photographers Association and sits on the Board of Directors of the Texas Professional Photographers Association. In 2002, Mark’s work was selected to go on display at the International Photography Hall of Fame, and is a frequent contributor to Texas Professional Photographers Magazine. Mark is a member of PPA, TPPA, SWPA, IPHF, NAPP, BSA and WTPSL. His studio is in Lubbock, Texas.

Mark's description of his program:
This program is specifically designed for the photographer who wants to, or has gone digital, but spends too much time at the computer. It’s all about Workflow.

We’ll show you how to get images from the camera to your computer faster that you ever thought possible, and quickly create a file management system for each client immediately following the session. We’ll talk about lab prep, and how & when to backup your session files.

Using Photoshop’s Actions Palette, we’ll show you how to quickly rotate and size your images for quick viewing by your client, and for insertion to PicturesToExe. Sales session prep is included.

Saving artwork has never been easier with our proven method of saving “adjusted” images not have not been sized to a different folder. This keeps raw images, art worked images and lab images separated for added security.

Also covered is web proofing. The best way to set your studio apart from the competition is the ability to put session images on your website. Photoshop’s Web Photo Gallery will create a clickable thumbnail gallery that provides a preview of each image, that when clicked on, will take the viewer to a larger version of the same image, provide clickable arrows leading to the next image, or back to the gallery, add your logo, name or copyright across each image, and design the web page for you. You can upload this gallery to your website or turn it over to your Webmaster for posting.

We’ll show you how to download, rotate, size, create quick viewing thumbnails, and create a sales session slide show in aprox. 15 minutes, eliminating the need for a second “viewing” appointment.

We’ll discuss areas where digital really shines, and when not to use digital imaging.
